There are six bridges that cross the Red River in Hanoi, and a few more over the Duong River. The most famous and iconic one is the Long Bien Bridge, which was built in the beginning of the twentieth century and was bombed several times during the Vietnam War. It’s about 2 kilometers long. There are no cars on the bridge; it’s for trains, motorbikes, bicycles, and pedestrians.
There is one photo of a bridge in Bac Ninh, the next major city north of Hanoi. The other photos are of the Chuong Duong, Vinh Tuy, Nhat Tan, and Dong Tru Bridges.
